COMMISSIONSSS!

Alright so it's about that time of the summer where I'm bored out of my mind and need money to pay my Pratt tuition bills. So if anyone is interested in an commission work, please feel free to let me know! Here is what I am currently offering:

+TeaPaper Drawings...

for 20$ you will receive an original, mounted tea paper drawing. While you may request a particular person (ie. yourself, friend, particular character etc), these drawings are highly stylized and will most likely only allude to a model (if used). You are more than welcome to give me guidance as to what gender/feel/text you want me to use, but for the most part, these drawings are very spontaneous and do better when there isn't a preconceived notion as to what they're supposed to look like. As always, photo reference is a plus if you want me to draw a specific person.

Your 20$ will get you the original drawing mounted on recycled paper and ready to frame should you choose. I may be offering framing services (obviously at an additional price and shipping fee), so if you are interested in getting a framed TeaPaper drawing, please let me know in your order form.

+TeaPaper style Ink drawings

In my efforts to expand and perfect my new style I will be offering pencil and ink drawings in the style of my tea paper drawings. These drawings will be done on high quality watercolor paper or drawing paper. Again, I am willing to do framing for these (again at additional fees). These drawings are very open to size, but if you want me to frame or you want to get it framed for yourself, then I would suggest commissioning a standard frame size, as custom framing can get expensive.

Prices range from $15+ (depending on size and whether it is ink or pencil

+Illustrations

1. Black and White vector style illustrations in the style of "Bubble Boy", "Daisy Girl" and "Headphone Flowers". Can be fanart or original characters as well as portrait work. Very open to direction. Very design based.

Prices from 30$ and up, you will receive a digital file of your finished commission, and a print, should you choose at an additional fee.

2. Pencil and Ink illustrations in my "anime" style. See "Asylum Danny" for best example. These will be done of high quality drawing paper or Bristol for inked drawings. Standard sizes at 9x12, but other sizes are available upon request.

+Sketches

This is new for me, but I am going to start doing 10$ sketches. Basically what this will entail is a pencil sketch with a quick coloring job, either watercolor or digital. With this option, you will only receive a digital copy of your commission.

Prices from 20$ and up, based on complexity and number of characters etc, also whether it is pencil or ink.

To make a long story short, I am basically willing to do almost anything in any style you see in my gallery. I am very open to ideas and am willing to do a variety of media. At the moment, I am not really offering colored commissions, but I am will to discuss the possibility should a client really want a colored commission.

Feel free to e-mail me or note me any inquiries. I am very open to pricing and would love to give you a free quote for your commission.

Thank you so much for your interest and I look forward to working with you!

Bethany

OMG I got to Pratt Institute in Brooklyn! It's really close to SVA!

I'm an Illustration major. It's really fun. I've heard really good things about SVA, mainly because their fine arts program is really self made. You get to pick most, if not all, of your classes. So i guess that's a unique aspect of the school. I haven't met any SVA kids yet, although it's on my list of things to try to do.

It's cool that you're doing web design. I did that in high school, but very extensively. I need to make a legit website sometime. haha. I feel so unprofessional just having a DA. But it works out int he end seeing as how it's basically just an online portfolio, and it's free, and there's no need to worry about hosting.

DeVry in Chicago, for web design. I want to go SVA in NY or Columbia in Chicago for Illustration afterwards.

I love coffee, but I like tea more.
~Gangles:iconGangles: Nov 4, 2007, 2:33:37 PM
What school do you go to? Just a random question. Sorry. haha.

And yes... I might like it! I like things strong.. but not coffee. I don't like coffee all the much. Tea is the way to go, for me at least.

You might like it by itself then :D

You should just throw an impromptu tea party. College kids (especially arts kids) love that stuff. I know my friends and I do. So it's definitely worth trying to make happen.

I personally like extra chai chai lattes. When i go to Starbucks I always ask for a 6 pump chai instead of the normal 4 because i like my chai really strong when it comes to chai lattes. I'm okay with strong tea, but sometimes it can be too strong.

And it tastes better :D

Stash is okayyy...Not too great but it's alright.
Vanilla chai is greeeaaat no matter what. The other stuff had too much spice to it.

I WANNA GO TO A COLLEGE TEA PARTY *sob*
~Gangles:iconGangles: Nov 3, 2007, 2:51:22 PM
Yeah dorm fridges are so horrible. Mine never stays cold enough. Whatever. I had to switch to soy milk because it keeps longer with less refrigeration.

I've never tried Stash's... I'll have to check it out. I had some really cheap Vanilla Chai that was pretty good just straight up. College tea party's are totally where it's at. Especially when there's knitting involved!

I'll have to try Awake :D
hahaha Dorm fridges are eeevil.
I put cream and sugar in Stash's Chai Spice Black, only 'cause it's really strong and that makes it taste similar to a chai tea latte :]
~Gangles:iconGangles: Nov 2, 2007, 2:35:46 PM
Irish Breakfast/English Breakfast and straight up black tea (tazo Awake for example) are my favs. I drink it clear mostly though. I don't like milk in my tea all that much. I used to, but not now. Mainly because i can't keep milk in my fridge for long before it goes bad... lol. Dorm fridges suck.

hahaha Nice.

Tea is amaaazing.
Irish breakfast is my favorite :D
~Gangles:iconGangles: Nov 2, 2007, 5:52:22 AM
Hahaha thanks! I dont even know where that came from. I think it was a natural biproduct of the realization that a Starbucks a-day makes you gain weight... hhaha. Fortunately I never ran into that problem... I caught myself and stopped drinking mad frappuccino's before anything negative happened.

Now i just stick to tea. haha.
